SHIPPING AND ORDERS

Here at Parkgate Marketplace we try to accommodate other local business locally and other islands within The Bahamas.  We will make orders and deliveries to small business as well as ship to outer islands.  In order for us to provide these services all customers choosing to make use of these services must comply with our polices and procedures.  

Below are basic guidelines but each order/customer may be different.  The best way to confirm your shipping / delivery needs will be to contact us or come in to the establishment and our staff will be glad to assist you.  

Local Delivery

  • Same day deliveries must be placed before 10:00 AM.

  • All orders are C.O.D. (Merchandise will not be delivered without payment.

  • Drivers cannot make changes to your orders (this ensures the delivery is correct before the delivery is made).

  • The delivery driver is not responsible for stocking warehouse or shelves in your establishment.

  • Delivery hours end at 5:00 PM.  Any orders not delivered by 5:00 PM will be placed on priority for delivery the following day. 

  • Shipping and Delivery departments will be closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Outer Island Shipping  

  • All orders must be over $200.  (or approved by management)

  • All customers must provide full contact information (Name, Telephone Number, Shipping MethodPayment Method)

  • Shipping must be done in Bulk (case items or half case items) (or approved by management)

  • Personal Shopping (ie. 3 bags of chips, 1 bottle of sauce, 3 cans of corn) may have a 2% service charge on the order total. (each case/order will vary)

  • Complete orders (no calling back after a day of ordering and adding something else) must be placed 72 hours before shipping date.

  • Payment must be received 24 hours before shipping date or order will not be shipped.

  • Once our personnel receives confirmation the order has been dropped off and signed for by the desired shipping vessel or vehicle, the order and products are no longer our responsibility.  All ongoing problems and questions must be taken up with the Shipping Company/Vessel.
